On July 4th 2022, The Center for Research and Development of Health Environment (CHERAD) held a signing ceremony of commitment to establish a network of collaborators to protect environmental health in Tu Mai commune, Yen Dung district, Bac Giang province.

Attending the ceremony were leaders of the People’s Committee, representatives of the provincial CDC, district health centers, and groups of collaborators in the commune. From CHERAD, there were Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Huy Nga – Director of the Center and Dr. Nguyen Trong An, Deputy Director of the Center – Project Director and Center staffs.

In order to promote people’s awareness and voluntary action, mobilize and guide the community to protect environmental health, prevent air pollution, and improve health, CHERAD leaders held a ceremony for the collaborators and local leaders to sign a commitment to implement the project’s contents, and at the same time presented and gave instructions on how to use the air quality measuring – device for the commune. The Project received strong commitment from the leaders of the Commune People’s Committee, the CDC of Bac Giang province, the district health centers, the commune health stations and especially the project collaborators from the Veterans’ Association, the Women’s Union, etc.
